SWEET VIBRATIONS MOTORCYCLE CLUB MEMBERSHIP
INFORMATION
We are a motorcycle riding club for women, grounded within a framework of sisterhood.  Members enjoy
the invaluable experience of riding with women who love the sport of motorcycling and believe both in the
safety of the individual and the collective group.  We are dedicated to sharing our knowledge about all
aspects of motorcycle riding enjoyment.  Membership is open to all female riders who meet our
membership requirements.  New members must be sponsored by a current SV member in good
standing.  Support members must be sponsored by a full member or full member prospect. New member
prospect periods begin on the date of application and will last for six consecutive months.  Because we
are committed to safety and continued education of the sport of motorcycling, there are few prerequisites
to all memberships. All prerequisites must be completed with the prospect period.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Full membership is open to any woman who meets all state requirements to properly license, own and
operate a motorcycle, maintain compliance with the state’s financial responsibility and laws regarding the
carrying of proper insurance and has successfully completed a Motorcycle Safety Foundation approved
rider course.  If you have not completed a MSF Course, we will assist you in finding a course near you.  
Membership applications are only be accepted March through August.  Full Prospects who join in August
may complete their probation period during the first three riding months of the following year.   
In addition, full membership cannot be obtained until all of the following criteria are met:

1. Obtain sponsorship from a full member in good standing.
2. Complete a SV membership application and pay the initial membership fee.
(membership fees are due at the time the membership application is submitted and is non refundable.)
3. Attend a minimum of four SV meetings and participate in a minimum of four SV rides.
4 .Attend a SV Safety Practice.
5. Pledge to uphold the SV By-Laws.
6.
